It can be done locally. McLaren ADAS and active aero recalibration is performed in-shop using OEM-level diagnostic equipment and McLaren’s published procedures — the car does not need to go to the factory. After any work near the bumpers, splitters, rear wing, or windshield, we recalibrate the affected sensors and cameras, perform ride-height and hydraulic verification where the chassis is involved, and confirm each system before the McLaren leaves our North Miami Beach shop. What determines a correct McLaren repair is the equipment and the procedure, not the location.
