What Customers Are Saying
Land Rover Collision Repair in North Miami Beach
Land Rover collision repair starts with a structural assessment and a pre-repair scan. On the Defender the aluminum monocoque does the work a frame does elsewhere, so impact energy stays near the point of contact and the structure shifts by amounts only measuring equipment finds. Aluminum work stays apart from steel. Geometry and frame straightening are verified before refinishing, and a post-repair scan closes every Land Rover collision center job.
Paint on a Land Rover is matched from the car, not from a code. Our technicians read the existing finish with a spectrophotometer, which accounts for Florida sun and for the difference between two vehicles built the same week. Aluminum panels also need their own preparation, since primer made for steel does not transfer. Car painting at our Land Rover repair shop is sealed with a UV-resistant clear coat.
Paintless dent repair is the first option for Land Rover dent repair when the paint film is unbroken and the panel can be reached from behind. Aluminum work-hardens instead of springing back, so it takes aluminum-specific tools, and we check the panel material first. Land Rover bumper repair is its own case: the covers hold parking sensors and rear corner radar, so once a sensor is disturbed, calibration is performed on-premises before the vehicle leaves.

Land Rover Models We Repair in North Miami Beach
Sensor coverage on these vehicles runs wider than the usual windshield-and-front-bumper set, and it decides how much recalibration a repair pulls in. Forward-facing cameras run Traffic Sign Recognition with Adaptive Speed Limiter. Rear Collision Monitor with Occupant Protection Assist reads the road behind through corner radar. The 3D Surround Camera takes four cameras around the body, and the ClearSight Interior Rear-View Mirror runs off a camera built into the roof antenna. A rear quarter repair therefore lands in calibration scope. At our Range Rover repair shop, every job that touches a sensor-adjacent component ends with ADAS calibration performed on-premises before the car leaves, with no second appointment elsewhere. Owners across North Miami Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles and Bal Harbour treat us as their Range Rover body shop for that reason.

Why Land Rover Repair Requires Specialist Knowledge
A Range Rover collision center works with estimates that carry line items a general repair plan leaves out: aluminum structural procedures, factory-documented sectioning points, part grade, recalibration for the cameras and radar sitting in the repair area, and pre- and post-repair diagnostic scans. We write each of those into the estimate with what supports it, meaning photographs, measurement printouts, the manufacturer procedure the step comes from, and the scan reports. When the adjuster asks why a line belongs in the file, the answer is already there.
Auto Body Lab works directly with the major insurance providers on Land Rover and Range Rover collision repair claims. We prepare the damage documentation and handle adjuster communication. If hidden damage turns up once panels come off, we file the supplement with the photos that support it. Repairs are backed by our lifetime warranty. Owners across North Miami Beach, North Miami, Bal Harbour and greater Miami bring their vehicles here because the claim is worked to the same standard as the repair.

OEM Parts & Electronic Systems Recalibration
No. A factory warranty covers defects, not collision damage; where the body work is done is your choice. Land Rover runs an Authorized Collision Network and publishes its repair procedures through the TOPIx portal, which independent shops can subscribe to. What matters is that the shop measures the structure against factory data, follows the published procedure for your model, uses OEM or OEM-equivalent parts, and completes recalibration where the repair requires it.
It depends on the model, and it changes the repair plan. Land Rover publishes that the Defender uses a D7x aluminum monocoque rated at 29 kNm/degree of torsional rigidity. For the Range Rover, what Land Rover publishes is the MLA-Flex architecture, not a panel material, so we identify panel and structural material on the specific vehicle before planning, because aluminum and steel need separate tooling and work areas. That check happens at intake.
Yes. Auto Body Lab handles collision, paint and dent repair across the current lineup: Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Velar and Evoque, Defender 90, 110 and 130, Discovery and Discovery Sport. Every model goes through the same intake, where we identify the body material and the powertrain before the estimate is written. Land Rover has also announced the Range Rover Electric, and when it reaches owners here it goes through the same intake.
Usually yes, and on these vehicles the trigger list is longer than most. Forward-facing cameras run Traffic Sign Recognition, a camera inside the roof antenna feeds the ClearSight mirror, four more make up the 3D Surround Camera view, corner radar at the rear serves the Rear Collision Monitor, and parking sensors sit in both bumpers. Work near any of them puts calibration in scope. It is performed on-premises before the vehicle leaves the shop.
It depends on scope. Panel and paint work with no structural damage usually runs five to seven days. Structural repair on an aluminum body with panel replacement and recalibration takes two to three weeks. Heavy structural damage, or a repair waiting on a part that ships from the manufacturer, can run four to six weeks or longer. We give you a date at the start and tell you when a supplement moves it.
It depends on your policy, and the wording differs between carriers. What we do is write the estimate with the part grade named, document why the OEM part is specified for that position, and send it to the adjuster with photographs and measurements attached. If the carrier approves a different grade, you hear it from us before the part is ordered, not when you pick the vehicle up.
